EDISON, NJ -- Middle School performing artists from The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison earned earning recognition, accolades and a few trophies at last week's Music in the Parks Festival at Kutztown University.

Below are the awards and recognition earned by W+H students and ensembles:

  • Jazz Band – 1st Place, Excellent Rating
  • Emelyn Choir – 1st Place, Excellent Rating
  • Middle School Choir, Emelyn Choir – Overall Winner
  • Best MS Jazz Soloist – David Ezra Flatau-Jones of Scotch Plains
  • Best Student Accompanist – Annie Gu of Edison 

After their wonderful performances, the students spent the rest of the day having a blast at Dorney Park.
