Hey out there in music lover’s land, come meet our friends, Bosch and Bonnie. Melodious pleasures await you as they weave through the years with a presentation of music and mash ups that are guaranteed to please, and maybe even surprise you. Bosh and Bonnie will be performing at The Red Cadillac on Saturday, July 13th at 8pm
As the lead guitarist for Garland Jeffreys and Ian Hunter, Mark Bosch’s resumé is filled with a who’s who of the rock ‘n’ roll world. Over four decades, he has played with numerous acts and musicians including Nena, Elliot Easton of the Cars, Carole King, Jules Shear, Sam Andrew of Big Brother and the Holding Company, Soozie Tyrell of the E Street Band, Jana Allen, Almost Famous, Idina Menzel, Louise Goffin, Benny Mardones, Elliot Easton, and a host of other top notch talent. He’s also a huge fan of vintage guitars and amps.
Mark recently returned from a triumphant reunion tour in the US and Great Britain with Mott the Hoople which also included a big birthday bash for Ian Hunter at City Winery in NYC. Mark calls Cranford home and is looking forward to enjoying his summer, playing his music, while performing in and around the area.
Bonnie Piparo, who grew up in Union and has lived in Cranford for over twenty years, has singing and performance background in choral, rock, jazz, standards, and blues. She loves musical harmony and is often heard performing two or three harmony voices along with almost any tune playing in the car, just ask her husband and kids.
For the past three years, she has been performing regularly in Cranford at Romola’s along with jazz guitarist, Nick Indalescio. They perform jazz and American Songbook classics as well as jazz adaptations of some rock/pop songs that may catch you by surprise. Bonnie performs occasionally with the rock/soul group Positive Salt, and will appear on their soon-to-be-released album.
Bonnie and Mark struck a chord recently and, liked the sound of it, and decided they’d like to pursue it further. To that end, they are now singing, playing and mashing up tunes that are guaranteed to make your ears smile.
So, if you want to see what happens when a lounge lizard and a rocker walk into a bar, join us as we welcome them to The Red Cadillac on Saturday, July 13th, 8:00 PM!
