HILLSIDE, NJ --  Juniors Dylan Jasey and Daniel Pita each scored two goals to ignite an offensive explosion when the Union Catholic boys soccer team erupted for an 8-2 victory on Thursday at Conant Park.

Brian Touma, Jahi Dillard, James Manniello, and Kyler Montague also scored for the Vikings. 

UC, which jumped out a 4-1 lead at the half, controlled the game from start to finish on the way to a second straight victory as the Vikings evened its record at 2-2 on the season. 

Jasey, who has been a huge spark for UC since playing his first game on Tuesday, also had three assists and now has three goals in his two games for UC. Pita raised his season total to a team-leading four goals.
