The Clark Public Library is temporarily closed, as are all libraries in New Jersey, and must remain closed until Executive Order 104 is lifted. Our re-open date will be announced when it is known. The library’s book return is closed until we re-open. Please hold on to any items you have checked out. Due dates are currently extended until April 20, 2020.

In the meantime, there are many virtual resources available to you either free or with your library card from our website at  If you need a library card or yours has expired since you last used it, please email or call us at 732.388.5999 and we will be able to help!

We have many e-books, audiobooks, magazines, and math learning for children available to use on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.  Check out our selections at  New selections are added as they become available, so check back often!

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

Librarians are still on duty to help you with questions via chat on our website, 9:30 am - 5:00 pm, via email at, or even by leaving a voice mail with the reference desk.  A librarian will respond as soon as possible.

For children, we have been updating our Facebook Children's Group page with resources to help while you are homebound, whether it be for distance learning or entertainment.  We are also conducting virtual storytime via YouTube, uploading videos for Baby Bookworms on Tuesday mornings and toddler/preschool Story Time aged on Thursdays.  You may sign up to be added to our virtual Children's event email list by visiting and filling out the form.  We plan to do virtual book clubs for older children.  Check back for other virtual events we may add!
