CEDAR GROVE, NJ — St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Rehab Center, a skilled nursing facility located in Northern New Jersey, has been ranked among the Best Nursing Homes in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.
The center, part of the non-profit St. Joseph’s Health organization based in Paterson, earned 2020-21
Best Nursing Home status for both Long-Term and Short-Term Care. U.S. News awards this designation to nursing homes that follow rigid guidelines and meet strict criteria around patient quality and safety.

Located on a park-like campus, St. Joseph’s Healthcare and Rehab Center is a modern, 151-bed skilled nursing facility designed for both sub-acute and long-term care admissions. The goals of sub-acute services are to restore each patient to the highest level of functioning and reintegrate the patient into his or her home or community.
St. Joseph’s long-term care unit is a home to residents who require skilled, professional medical and nursing care in a warm and supportive environment. The dedicated interdisciplinary team includes physicians who are Board-certified in Geriatric Medicine, an Advanced Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, and a team of dedicated clinicians and staff to coordinate care and maximize the residents’ independence and quality of life.
