MADISON, NJ - Volunteers from the Madison Chatham Coalition and Municipal Alliance Committee of the Chathams, Chatham Borough law enforcement and Chatham High School students came together to participate in a pre-Super Bowl Sticker Shock campaign, a campaign designed to deter the sale of alcoholic beverages to underage kids.

The Municipal Alliance Committee of the Chathams (MACC) and the Madison Chatham Coalition with its Teen Task Force pasted more than 1,200 bright green “Keep it Legal” stickers on cases of beer, ciders and coolers.

Leading up to the Super Bowl, all four Chatham alcohol retailers Bottle King, Hickory Wine Cellars, Cottage Deli and USA Wine Traders Club, participated in this important event that helped remind adults to keep liquor consumption to the over 21 population while enjoying the Super Bowl and helped Chatham young adults and teens make healthy choices.

The Madison Chatham Coalition is funded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy and is a collaborative partnership between the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America.
