This past September, Temple Emanu-El's Early Childhood Education Program began offering full day infant care.

“Over the past few years, more and more families have been inquiring about full day, year-round care for their young children,” said Director of Early Childhood Education Jill Cimafonte. “There are a limited number of high-quality childcare programs in our community which has so many double-working parents. Our program is somewhat unique because we offer 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. care for infants and toddlers, and there will always be full day options available to them as they get older, but we will also continue offering shorter options for children 2 years and up.”

Families have been very pleased with the program.

“The class sizes are super small and personalized and the teachers are so loving and truly treat our daughter like their own. We don't feel like we are dropping her off at a daycare, we feel like we are allowing our village and community to help teach and raise our baby girl. It has been a truly fabulous experience,” said one family currently enrolled in Temple Emanu-El’s infant care program.

This upcoming September, the infants will move into the brand-new toddler room, allowing new infants (3-12 months) to start. There are still a few openings for infants and toddlers.
