BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - On Monday November 11 at 8:30 a.m. there will be a ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park (corner of Plainfield and Park) honoring all men and women who have served in the Armed Forces.

Among others taking part will be an honor guard from the Union High Jr. ROTC, the Berkeley Heights Police Department, and a piper from Governor Livingston High School.

The Berkeley Heights Veterans Park Committee and the VFW Post 6259 will present the family of Cadet Captain P. Anthony Steitz of the Union High Corps of Cadets a plaque honoring Anthony. Anthony who regularly attended the Berkeley Heights Veterans Day celebrations was tragically killed in an automobile accident in April of this year.

All are invited to attend this short but meaningful ceremony thanking all who have served our country.
