ShopRite Nutrition: Healthy Afterschool Snacks – 4 to 5 pm

Ages 5 to 8                  Limit:  15 children

Looking for a snack for your kids to curb their appetite but also give them energy?  Join Tory, ShopRite of Chatham's Registered Dietitian, to learn about healthy afterschool snack combinations and to make some no-bake energy bites.

Two Chatham High School students will provide homework help for children in Grades K to 5.  All subjects welcome.

Dance Innovations Holiday Concert – 4 to 4:45 pm

Join students from Dance Innovations under the artistic direction of Susan M. Coutts for a song and dance celebration of the holiday season.  This is a preview of the school's December 21 Nutcracker show, where over 100 dancers will perform in numerous styles such as Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Classical Ballet, Modern and Jazz with professional guest artists while raising scholarship funds for children with special needs or circumstances to help them pursue their dream in arts programs.

Gen Y Networking Group – 7 pm

Gen Y Networking Group is a forum dedicated to job searching, networking, and career development.  The group is open to all job seekers.

Yoga Storytime with Miss Jenn – 10 or 10:45 am

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7

Holiday Book Sale – 10 am to 4 pm

Friends of the Library will hold their annual Holiday Book Sale for one day only.  Browse the wonderful selection of holiday books, children’s hardcover picture books, cookbooks and gift books.

Ⓕ Holiday Music with Ian Gallagher – 1 pm

Singer/guitarist Ian Gallagher will perform holiday songs to get you into the spirit of the season.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8

New Jersey Art Association Show Opening Reception – 2:15 to 4 pm

The NJ Art Association, founded in 1940 as the Millburn-Short Hills Art Center, will hold a show of the group’s work.  The show may be viewed during regular library hours through December.  Reception sponsored by Friends of the Library.
