CALL: How Music Works – 10:30 am to 12 pm

Barry Wiesenfeld, a musician, published author, and faculty member of SUNY and Ramapo College, presents this four-part series that touches on music history, theory, and milestones of the different eras and composers.  A fee of $40 will be charged for the series.  You may sign up in person or by calling 973-635-0603.

Summer Reading Club Volunteer Orientation – 4 to 4:30 pm

For those going into 6th grade and up
Volunteer at Library of The Chathams this summer!  Help us make the Summer Reading Club a success by listening to children talk about the books they have read.  Come to this orientation meeting and learn all about it!

Yoga Storytime with Miss Rachael – 10 or 10:45 am

For preschoolers and their caregivers – please choose one session

Practice yoga poses to go along with yoga stories.

Cinema214: Captain Marvel (PG-13, 123 min.) – 7 pm

After crashing an experimental aircraft, Air Force pilot Carol Danvers is discovered by the Kree and trained as a member of the elite Starforce Military under the command of her mentor Yon-Rogg.  Six years later, after escaping to Earth while under attack by the Skrulls, Danvers begins to discover there’s more to her past.  With help from S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury, they set out to unravel the truth.  Refreshments will be served.  Sponsored by Friends of the Library
