The East Brunswick Library is continuously monitoring the status and potential risk of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and would like to share with you what we’re doing to protect your health and safety.

1.     All library programs, outreach and meetings have been canceled through March 31, at which time we will reassess.

2.     We have rearranged seating and computers wherever possible to institute the CDC standard of social distancing in public spaces.

3.     We encourage patrons who are unwell to stay home and rest. If you are unwell and unable to come to the library to return items, please call 732-390-6950 and we will extend your items’ due dates.

4.     High-risk populations, including older adults and people who have serious chronic medical conditions, should refrain from visiting the library.

5.     Practice recommended hygiene by washing hands open with soap and water; avoid touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands; covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing; and avoiding contact with people who are sick.

Our Just For The Health Of It! consumer medical and health librarians also put together this resource guide with links to information from the World Health Organization, New Jersey Department of Health and Center for Disease Control.
