BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - The 2018  Berkeley Heights Recreation Flag Football program concluded Monday, November 5th on a chilly showery night under the lights at Snyder Field. Nearly 80 children grades one through six along with over 15 volunteer parent coaches participated in the program this season with the focus on a practicing a variety of football fundamentals and the always popular scrimmage at the end of each session.

Thanks to Tom Barton and Carolyn George at the BH Recreation Department for coordinating the program and jerseys under Head Coach Mike Ryan in his 7th season at the helm. Thanks also to Conor Bade for helping out on the field, the parents who answered the call (some for many years) to volunteer their time to make the sessions productive and fun. Thanks to all the kids who come out with such enthusiasm to learn the game and make it such a fun program for all.
