GOSHEN, N.Y. — Before heading to the Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Day Parade, join the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame for its annual open house family workshop on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Children ages 3-12 will make lucky horseshoe hats and shakers to bring to the parade, fill shamrock candy boxes with golden chocolate treats and play holiday and horsey-themed games. The entire family will enjoy cookies, cakes, tea and hot chocolate as well as a ride on the 3-D Harness Racing Simulator.
Cost is $5 per child and adults are free. No reservations but supplies are limited. After the workshop, stake out a spot in front of the Museum from which to watch the parade, beginning at 2 p.m.
