The Nutley Public Library is hosting a week of hands-on after-school activities for children and teens, all leading up to NJ Makers Day on Saturday, March 23 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM! 

All after-school programs are drop-in from 2:00 - 4:00 PM: 

  • Monday, March 18: Make unique structures with Strawbees: bendable plastic tubes! 
  • Tuesday, March 19: Learn how to do a simple sewing project! 
  • Wednesday: March 20: Join teacher Jay Levine as he demonstrates Ozobots: small programmable robots! 
  • Thursday, March 21: Make a boat from basic supplies and test it out on the water! 
  • Friday, March 22: Design and create your own buttons using our button maker machine!

Then, on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM see 3D printer demos and try DIY and craft stations throughout the second floor of the Nutley Public Library in honor of the fifth annual NJ Makers Day!
