LAFAYETTE, NJ  - Pass It Along is holding the Annual Dodge the Ball Tournament at the The Fieldhouse at Sparta, located in Sparta, New Jersey. The events is being held on March 2, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit Pass It Along, a non-profit organization providing volunteer opportunities, leadership development and self-discovery workshops for teenagers throughout Sussex and Warren Counties.

“Dodge the Ball Battle is not only a fundraiser, but it's a fun-raiser,” says Michael Misukonis, Manager of Programs and Annual Events at Pass It Along, “We are raising funds to benefit our incredible leaderships programs as we raise awareness of all the amazing opportunities Pass It Along offers.”

The cost for participants to enroll in the event is $20 and individuals must sign-up in teams of six to ten people. Participants must be a minimum of 15 years of age, with no age limit. Enrollment is currently taking place through Pass It Along’s website, with instructions on the process of enrollment and completion of necessary paperwork.

During the event, a variety of prizes will be handed out, including prizes for Best Uniform, Crowd Favorite and Highest Team Spirit.

During the event, there will be several volunteer opportunities that are open to all members of the community. Volunteers have the chance to coordinate operations at the snack bar, selling pizza from Villa Capri, in Newton, as well as baked goods made by various volunteers from Pass It Along leadership programs. Other volunteer opportunities include observing the playing fields, as well as serving as a referee to the games. To volunteer as a referee, it is recommended that the participant be a minimum of 18 years of age.
