Join us for the African American Read-In at Kennedy Library (500 Hoes Lane) on Saturday, February 15 from 11am to 2pm.  The Read-In will kick off at 11am with a story time and craft with Friends of the Piscataway Library board member Valerie Anderson and Councilwoman Chanelle McCullum. After that, we'll hear members of NJ Orators share their speeches and poems, a vocal performance by Dr. April Robinson at 1pm, and local authors Maisy Card, Dr. Jacqueline Littlejohn, and Rachelle M. Parker will read from their published works. There will be opportunities throughout the event to take the mic and share a favorite excerpt.
