PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Piscataway Library’s Kennedy branch was open for blood donations on Monday, where technicians from the New York Blood Services collected 34 pints of blood from community supporters.
“Blood donations support breast cancer warriors and survivors,” said account manager, Lynne Ross. “Cancer patients are the number one users of blood.”
Donations from Monday’s event will help over 100 patients.
Donors received a free pair of movie tickets to the Rutgers Cinemas as a thank you for their efforts.
