SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - On November 30th AT&T employees & South Plainfield Knights of Columbus members went to the Menlo Park Veterans Home and supported our Veterans. A great time was had by everyone who attended, the AT&T & Knights Volunteers helped transport the Veterans from their rooms, helped them play bingo, then sat and talked to them and then transported them back to their rooms after the Bingo games were over.
The AT&T & Knights Volunteers showed there true compassion to our Veterans as they donated some many gifts from their “Wish List” they were in dire need of: Dunkin Donuts and Visa Gift Cards, Baseball Hats, Undershirts, Shampoo/Conditioner, Body Wash, Toothbrushes/Toothpaste, Combs/Brushes, Sweatshirts, Sweatpants, Deodorant and Puzzles
The Bingo game got truly competitive, as the volunteers also donated over $400 for the Veterans to play High Stakes Bingo games, which the Veterans truly appreciated and needed.
The AT&T employees who attended and donated gifts were Lisa Cremone, Kim Scalise, Liz Leicht, Toni Ianniello, Sue Rocco, Dee Garrison, Jeff Hays, Tom Matthews, Stacey Harrison and Joe Scrudato who organized this event
As well South Plainfield Knights of Columbus members Jim Whalen and Roy Kaplan supported this event, they donated gifts and money towards Bingo
