The South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council #6203 held its 2019 Special Citizens Drive on April 25th, 26th and 27th. Over $3,100 was collected during the three-day fundraiser by canning at local businesses.

The Knights would like to thank the following local businesses for allowing them to collect in front of their stores: Shop Rite, CVS, Super Stop and Shop, Dunkin Donuts, Bagel Pantry, Quick Check and Witty’s

100% of all proceeds collected will be donated to various organizations that support mentally handicapped citizens. During the past 18 years over $210,000 has been donated by the South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council to various organizations to help better the lives of these special needs citizens

Co-Chairmen Tom Robertson and Harold Bolton would like to thank all of the Knights members and their family members who collected for this drive as well to Brother Knight Charlie Butrico for managing the letter writing campaign that asks local businesses for donations

The Knight would also like to thank each and every resident who have supported this drive over the years.
