The Wardlaw+Hartridge School in Edison is holding three Virtual Admission Information Sessions – two on Thursday, Nov. 12 at 9 a.m. or 7 p.m. and one on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 9 a.m. Each session provides an opportunity to meet our Head of School, Division Heads, teachers, students and the Admission Team.
Wardlaw+Hartridge is a coeducational, college preparatory day school enrolling 450 students in PreK(3) through Grade 12. The campus is located on 36 wooded acres at the conjunction of Middlesex, Union and Somerset counties. With an early childhood program that offers hands-on experiential learning, to an Upper School with rich academic offerings, the school is large enough to offer 19 advanced placement classes for high school students, but small enough to provide an intimate learning environment for everyone.
The school is committed to providing a supportive academic atmosphere with an additional focus on the social-emotional development of all members of the community. Wardlaw+Hartridge continues to embrace its six Core Values: Integrity, Opportunity, Support, Diversity, Community and Sustainability.
Our Early Childhood program for students in PreK(3) through Kindergarten creates nurturing experiences for children in their first years at school. In the Lower School for Grades 1-5, academic achievement is enmeshed with developing a true love of learning. Middle School students in Grades 6-8 develop from concrete to abstract thinkers and grow daily in independence. The Upper School for Grades 9-12 provides the final stage in preparing students to succeed in college and beyond.
The campus houses a performing arts center, three state-of-the-art STEM labs, three art studios, a Center for Global Learning and videoconferencing center, television studio, outdoor classrooms, two gymnasiums, a 25-yard swimming pool, tennis courts and two athletic turf fields. The school is open for in-person classes and also offers hybrid instruction to accommodate remote learning.
