Communication and Religion in the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election: Virtual Conference

This free virtual conference sponsored by the Lilly Foundation and hosted by Seton Hall University brings together some of the foremost scholars on communication, politics and religion in anticipation of the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election, perhaps the most consequential election in recent U.S. history. 

Speakers include Professor Peter Beinart, contributing Opinion Writer at The New York Times, a CNN Political Commentator, Editor-at-Large of Jewish Currents and a Non-Resident Fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace; Heidi Campbell, professor of communication and affiliate faculty in religious studies and director of the Network for New Media, Religion & Digital Culture Studies at Texas A&M University; and Ronald C. Arnett, chair and professor of communication and rhetorical studies and The Patricia Doherty Yoder and Ronald Wolfe Endowed Chair in Communication Ethics at Duquesne University.

The three-day virtual conference will be broadcasted live Wednesday, Oct. 21 to Friday, Oct. 23 and is free and open to the public. Participants can join for all or one of the sessions. Please visit here for more information about offered sessions and to register for the conference.
