Livingston Library Virtual Event: Ornamental and Edible Flowers

Why limit your garden space to plants that are simply eye catching and attractive to look at? Grow ornamental plants which are both pleasing  to the eyes, and to the palate.

Explore the world of edible flowering plants and learn to create candied flower petals, in this engaging Library presentation, live via Zoom, on Thursday July 23rd starting at 11 am.

The presenter is Althea Llewellyn, a certified Square Foot Gardening Instructor, Master Tree Steward, and a certified Master Gardener, who teaches gardening to hundreds of  YMCA summer campers throughout Union and Essex Counties.

On staff at a historic public garden in Summit NJ,-Reeves-Reed Arboretum, she develops environmental programs, and conducts gardening workshops and lectures.
