Moonlight Cemetery Tour in Succasunna

Come enjoy a spooktacularly fun evening on Sunday, 10/28/18 at the Moonlight History and Mystery Cemetery Tour 6 pm-8 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna located at 99 Main St. See the final resting place of Revolutionary and Civil War soldiers, Lenape people, a NJ Governor and many of the families who have streets named after them throughout Roxbury (Condit, Salmon, Meeker, Emmans, etc.).   Hear stories told by costumed “ghost” characters speaking graveside under the moonlight.  Come explore the hallowed grounds of this historic church which served as a hospital for soldiers during the Revolutionary War and where U.S. President Martin Van Buren came to worship with NJ Governor Mahlon Dickerson. Tours leave every 5 minutes, rain or shine.  Please bring a flashlight.  Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 on day of event and include cider and donuts after your tour.  If you came last year, come again - there will be new grave site characters and some spooky surprises too!  Great for Scouts, youth groups, history buffs and anyone who likes getting into the Halloween spirit.  We encourage you to purchase advance tickets (so you can pick your preferred tour time) at the church office on Mondays -Thursdays, 9:30am-1pm.  Stop by or call church office at 973-584-5238.
