NJ Audubon: Genuine Character: Scott Gilbert’s Images of Avian Personality

Each species and individual displays a unique personality. Think of the relentless determination of the shorebirds, the soaring independence of the raptors, or the colorful charm of the warblers. For bird photographer Scott Gilbert, the magic happens on those special occasions when he is able to reflect the subject's distinctive character in a way that meaningfully resonates with the viewer. An exhibition of Scott’s characterful photographs opens at the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery, at the Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary, on March 1, 2019 and runs until May 27, 2019.
