Heads up!  The Grand Canyon of natural spectacles is coming to New Jersey!  No, not the geological rift, but the Grand Canyon of Migratory Spectacles – a river of raptors.  Join Pete Dunne, NJ Audubon Birding Ambassador, on our rooftop observation deck to observe the spectacular raptor migration.  Unless it is raining heavily, there will be hawks to see, resident species like Red-tailed and Cooper’s Hawks, migrating Osprey, Sharp-shinned Hawks, and Broad-winged Hawks.  New and young hawk watchers are cordially invited and loaner binoculars will be available to those who arrive early. Bring binoculars, sun glasses, sun screen, and brimmed cap. A book signing by Pete is scheduled for noon in the Nature Store.
