Juvenile Injured in Watchung Hit and Run, Police Request Public’s Help

WATCHUNG, NJ – A 12-year old was hit by a vehicle on Valley Road in Watchung on Tuesday, and that vehicle fled the scene, Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Two Former New Brunswick Employees Sentenced In Water Bill Bribe Scheme

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Two former employees of the city's water department have been sentenced to five years in prison for taking bribes in exchange for lowering about 50 water and sewer bills.

Joseph DeBonis, 56, of Toms River, was a senior account clerk for the city.

William Ortiz, 57, of North Brunswick, was a meter reader.

PISCATAWAY, NJ — A man was struck and killed by a freight train at the New Market Road railroad crossing in Piscataway Saturday morning.
