Sparta Police: Traffic Stops Yields 100 Packets of Heroin, 2 Wanted Men

SPARTA, NJ – A traffic stop on Route 15 ended with two men in custody; both had warrants and one had drugs.  On May 13 around 11 p.m. Officer Thomas Herd stopped a black Jeep Patriot for a broken license plate light, police said.

Volunteers Collect 18 Tons of Trash From Streams and Lakefronts in Upper Raritan Watershed

FLEMINGTON, NJ – The one-day annual Stream Cleanup organized by Raritan Headwaters Association removed 18 tons of trash, litter and recyclables from almost 80 miles of river, stream and lakefront, the group reports.
