Sparta's East Mountain Road Construction Continues

SPARTA, NJ – The East Mountain Road paving project is scheduled to continue on Monday, October 14, according to township officials.  Paving is expected to last the whole day.

CR 517 to be Closed for Emergency Repairs Friday Night

OGDENSBURG, NJ – Sparta officials have announced Route 517 will be closed to traffic in Ogdensburg from 8 p.m. Friday, October 11 until 6 a.m. Saturday, October 12.

Sparta Police: Suspended N.C. Driver Gets DWI in N.J.

SPARTA, NJ – A North Carolina man with a suspended license, seen weaving on Route 15, has been charged with drunk driving.  Joel Rivera of Washaw, North Carolina already had a suspended license with he was stopped on September 27 around 2 p.m. by Office Phil Longo, police said.
