Car Rolls into Kenilworth Senior Center

KENILWORTH, NJ - The Kenilworth Police and Fire Department were quick to respond to the scene of a car rolling into the Senior Center Sunday morning.

The car was parked on the Boulevard and due to a suspected faulty break, the car went into the Senior Center around 9:00 a.m. No one was hurt and both the building and the car suffered minimal damage.

KENILWORTH, NJ - As a result of coronavirus restrictions, the regular routine of the David Brearley High School Marching Band has seen a myriad of changes. Many of the instruments previously used are not allowed, such as brass and woodwind instruments.

DBMHS Band Director Anthony LaBruno has done an outstanding job of readjusting the band to the restrictions caused by the pandemic.

Special $300 tax deduction helps most people give to charity this year – even if they don’t itemize

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Service reminds taxpayers of a special new provision that will allow more people to easily deduct up to $300 in donations to qualifying charities this year.
