Want to End Cannabis Prohibition? Vote Ron Rivers.

Last week, Politico New Jersey reported that the proposed cannabis legalization bill that has the the support of a majority of New Jersey residents is unlikely to be passed during this legislative session.

The reason?  Political infighting.  Quite simply, our elected representatives are ignoring the will of the people they were chosen to represent and instead are allowing petty ...

We are at a critical crossroads, and every one of us has a decision to make.  The climate crisis poses a genuine threat to all New Jersey residents, and our window to address the challenges ahead proactively is rapidly closing.

There is an overwhelming consensus among scientists that human activity is directly responsible for the rapidly changing climate and we need drastic action ...

Curtain Closes on "Game of Thrones," and Now Our Watch Has Ended

It took me several days to wrap my head around how I felt about the “Game of Thrones” series finale, and then it hit me—to produce something thought-provoking enough to still be a topic of discussion among millions nearly a week later is to produce something epic, regardless of the nature of those thoughts.

A lot of the disappointment among fans stems from the fact that we ...

In honor of all those we lost on Sunday and for the sake of maintaining loyalty to the characters whom I have devoted so much time and energy to over the last several years, I’m going to do my best to keep my opinions on the quality of the writing at bay for the ...

How fire safe is your home? Learn more during Home Fire Sprinkler Week

Did you know that the majority of fire deaths in North American happen at home?  Last year in New Jersey alone, 52 people lost their lives to home fires, and 22 have died in home fires since the first of this year.

Raising public awareness about this life-saving ...

The Best Deal on Meals We’ve Found Anywhere in New Jersey

May 25, 2019

A dollar won’t buy you a cup of coffee at most places in New Jersey, but this week it will buy nine meals for neighbors in need.

I am not sure if I ever had measles. I know I had gerbils. And a hamster once. But I don’t recall ever having measles.

Of course, measles aren’t small furry animals or some popular Hasbro toy that is in short supply around the holidays. The Measles are not a Korean Pop boy band or an annoying TV sitcom family. Measles are not a breakfast cereal or small colored candies that fizz in ...
