A Disappointing Budget Address by the Governor

February 25, 2020

I was disappointed in Gov. Murphy’s budget address today because I don’t believe increasing spending by another $2 billion and raising taxes and fees is going to help the hard-working, middle class families of this state; nor will his proposals create jobs or stem the flight of individuals and business from New Jersey.

The governor’s fiscal blueprint would give our state a ...

Legendary Band Leader Paul Shaffer Tells Steve Adubato How He was Inspired by Comedy Icons Early in his Career

February 19, 2020

NEW JERSEY -- Paul Shaffer is widely known as the former Musical Director of both Late Night with David Letterman and The Late Show with David Letterman, during which he was often involved in skits and the general hijinx of the production. Murphy Budget Means More of the Same for New Jersey Taxpayers

“This was a failure by the Murphy Administration to address the state’s affordability crisis. At $40.85 billion, ...

Zero to Disaster in 60 Seconds: 6 Steps to Stop Parents from Catastrophizing

It’s a thought pattern that used to make me nuts (and I haven’t completely conquered it yet):  'Zero to disaster in 60 seconds!’

Here's how it goes....

My 16-year old son has missed two history assignments this week... He'll start falling behind and fail a test. Then he'll stop working in other classes, fail multiple courses, he won't graduate ...

His local physicians then delivered the hopeful news that researchers three hours away, at the ...
