Meow, Bark, Gulp, Chirp..... Bring your pets to The Blessing of the Animals at First Presbyterian Church of Verona, Sunday, September 29th at 10:15 AM on the church lawn. (In case of bad weather, the service will be moved indoors to Chamberlain Hall.) There is a short service (pets do not like long sermons). Then the Blessing followed by biscuits, kitty treats, bowls of water and human treats.

1,500 Pounds of Apples Delivered to Newark Central High School

NEWARK, NJ - State Sen. M. Teresa Ruiz led a donation on Monday dropping off 1,500 pounds of apples gleaned from an East Brunswick orchard to Newark Central High School.
