Sparta Police: Traffic Stop on the Way to Camping Ends with Pot Charges

SPARTA, NJ – A New York man was pulled over on Route 15 north for tailgating. On September 4 around 7:15 p.m.  Officer Erick Finley stopped a red Honda Civic driven by Hakeem Bokhari, police said.

When Finley spoke with Bokhari the officer smelled marijuana in the car.  Bokhari admitted his passenger Naeem Semerkant, 22 also of New York, had marijuana, police said.
