Sparta Town Council Race Loses Bipartisan Mandate

October 29, 2020

I answered the phone the other day and realized it was a robocall. I was about to hang up but something caught my attention. The recording was urging me to vote for Josh Hertzberg and Christine Quinn for Sparta Council. I listened, hoping to hear about their plans for Sparta or things they have done for our town. Instead, I was given a list of Republican candidates around the county to vote for.

On November 3rd, support the team dedicated to Integrity, Transparency & Innovation

Sparta’s two elected bodies, Town Council and Board of Education, are intentionally non-partisan.  As residents and voters, we get a reprieve from the noise of politics when choosing fellow Spartans to guide our most important local institutions:  our schools, police, public works, parks and recreations, and other essential services.  We must be doing something right, because ...
