Celebrating the history of New Providence from Turkey to today with food, music, contests, games and more. The day will end with the retiring of American Flags at the American Legion Post 433.  Many volunteers are needed, both individuals and local organizations.

South Orange residents are welcome to drop off household bulk items at the Public Works facility. Proof of residency is required and no commercial vehicles (U-Haul's/ Home Depot rental vans) are permitted on the property. Electronics, construction material, and hazardous waste will not be accepted at these events. AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE FACILITY FOR THIS EVENT.

The Friends of Sleepy Hollow are sponsoring a food collection event. The non-perishable food and personal hygiene new items will be given to Star Fish Food Pantry in Plainfield.

Items can be dropped off at The Coffee Box, 1359 South Ave, on Saturday, September 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

For those donating, receive a free small coffee.
