Breaking News: Injuries in Accident in Ship Bottom

SHIP BOTTOM — 11:40 a.m. Police cars and an ambulance are currently on eastbound Route 72 in Ship Bottom between Central Avenue and Long Beach Boulevard. The accident is near the WaWa. 

Police are diverting traffic north or south onto Barnegat Boulevard.

Route 539 Closed North of Route 72 Due to Deadly Crash

STAFFORD — Route 539, north of Route 72 in Stafford has been closed for hours after a deadly truck and auto collision between Route 72 and Harry Wright Blvd according to the New Jersey News Netwrok. 

A dump truck and auto collided.  Police report that one person has died. The name of the victim has not been released.
