Governor Phil Murphy has launched a war on fossil fuels in New Jersey, officially decreeing “It is the policy of the State to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 50 percent below 2006 levels by the year 2030” in Executive Order No. 274.  His energy master plan sets a target of 100% green energy by 2050 to meet that goal.
