Tractor Trailer Fire Causes Traffic Delays On 287 Southbound in Edison

Edison:  A tractor trailer fire on the shoulder of Route 287 Southbound in Edison is causing delays in both directions.  Although the fire is all but extinguished, delays are still occurring in the right lane.  Rubber necking on Route 287 Northbound is also causing traffi delays.  Drivers are urged to use caution.

Edison Woman, 9-month-old Son Identified in Vehicle Discovered in New Market Pond

MIDDLESEX COUNTY – Police have identified the occupants of a vehicle that was found floating in New Market Pond as an Edison woman and her 9-month-old son.

Tamequa Robinson, 30, and her son were found dead inside their vehicle this morning, according to a press release from Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Thomas Mosier of the Piscataway Police Department.
