BELMAR, NJ - A fire tore through a house on Surf Avenue Between 17th and 18th Avenues Wednesday, killing Frances Colie, 93. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital after the blaze.

It appears the fire began between 3 and 4 p.m, and it is not known what caused the destructive fire.
