LBI Region, NJ - Beginning October 1, New Jersey Drivers will get a break at the pump as state gas tax will decrease 8.3 per gallon. The NJ State Department of Treasury announced that the new tax will be 42.4 cents per gallon for gasoline, down from 50.7 per gallon.
