Newton Police Reach Out to Public for Information on a Deceased Dog

NEWTON, NJ—The Newton Police Department is asking for help from the community solving a mystery about a dead dog. 

On March 30, around 1:35 p.m. officers responded to a wooden area on Oak Street for a report of a deceased dog. According to police, the dog was found partially buried in a shallow grave and wrapped in a black garbage bag and a purple fitted bedsheet.
