March 2, 2021

2/6/2021—At 1617 hours a report was taken for a theft of checks. The victim stated checks that were ordered in January were never received. It was later discovered that a check within the numerical sequence was written and cashed. The total amount of the theft was $7500.00.  

2/14/2021—Nicholas P. Thul, 38, of Union was arrested and charged with simple assault.

Summit EMS Report - February, 2021

Despite it being a short month, Summit’s EMS Volunteers answered 153 emergency calls in February. These included 95 medical emergencies: 17 falls; six motor vehicle accidents, including one on a highway; 12 traumatic injuries; one pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle; six cases of overdose or poisoning; one possible Carbon Monoxide poisoning and seven responses to a medical alarm.
