Now that Summit Council and Mayor have made the decision to step back and reevaluate their position and proposal regarding Broad Street West, it would be helpful if they would address the following question:

Will Mayor and Council commit to bringing forth a new proposal that is in compliance with the current Redevelopment Plan?

Thursday, June 9th there was an event in downtown Summit and Beechwood road was closed. I tried to get to the post office from the north side and the only direct way was by Summit Ave which understandably was stopped in both directions. It was about 6 pm.; commuter traffic didn’t help.
