Summit PD: Man Posing as Uber Driver Attempted Sex Assault

SUMMIT, NJ — City police said Tuesday evening that a man posing as an Uber driver attempted to sexually assault a person he was taking from New York City to Pennsylvania.

In a statement posted to Facebook, police said the driver exited Route 78, stopped on Glenside Avenue and the victim escaped the vehicle unhurt.
