Union County OKs $95K to Settle Suit Claiming Prisoner Denied Prayer, Harassed

ELIZABETH, NJ — The Union County Board of County Commissioners has authorized $95,000 to resolve claims that a prisoner at the county’s since closed jail was kept from exercising his faith and harassed because of his Muslim religion.
