Artist kicks off 30 years of exhibiting with Morris Arts Winter Invitational Exhibit

MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morris Arts Winter kicks off the Winter Invitational Exhibit with a free opening recepition on Thursday, January 26, 2017. 6-8:30 pm. Attendees will be able to meet the gifted artists and view artworks that which "span styles from the contemporary abstract to plein air realism, created in a variety of media including oils, cut paper, 3-D works, photography, mixed media and acrylic".

Printmaker Andrea Epstein will be displaying works on canvas and paper as part of the Morris Arts Winter Invitational Exhibit from January 15 through  March 18. Epstein’s bold, graphic, and powerful abstract pieces will be on the 4th floor, with other artists’ works on floors 2-5. 2017 marks Epstein’s 30th year of exhibiting. Her current monoprints are multi-layered pieces, linked together into triptychs. Their large scale and repeated imagery draw the viewer into her richly textured and evocative world.

All artists in the Morris Arts Winter Invitational Exhibit are: Todd L.W.Doney, Andrea Epstein, Adel Gorgy, Marsha Solomon, Pat Brentano, Elizabeth Gregory Gruen, Charles Newman, and artists in the juried exhibit presented by the New Jersey Highlands Coalition.
