The production will run Friday, December 13th thru Sunday, December 22nd, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 3pm.

Roles Available for audition include:

The Ghost of Christmas Present – The second of three spirits sent to Scrooge.  This larger than life character is loud, joyful, and stern.  He is responsible for showing Scrooge how detached he is from the goings-on in the world around him.

Martha Cratchit – Oldest daughter of the Cratchits (15 – 25), Martha has a job outside of the household and helps support the rest of the family both emotionally and financially.  She is especially supportive of her mother and loves her father dearly.  She has a good sense of humor and loves to make her brothers and sisters laugh.

Tiny Tim (Timothy Cratchit) -  A frail young boy (10 or under) who suffers from an undeclared condition that results in him needing to walk with a cane.  Left untreated there is the possibility that he may die.  Despite this affliction his charm, positive manner, and love of Christmas serve as a central element in the lessons the Spirits teach Scrooge.

Mary & Belinda Cratchit – Both are a little older than their brother Tim and love him very much.  They enjoy welcoming their father home from work, are very excited about Christmas, and are crushed by Tim’s sickness.  These roles have a great emotional range for young actors.

Ignorance & Want – The Ghost of Christmas Present protects these two “London orphans” and explains to Scrooge why it is important to always be concerned about their condition.  They are creepy, mysterious, frail and tragic figures who represent the poverty and desperation of the poor in London society.

Turkey Boy – One of the London street kids who is spurned by Scrooge and then turns up just at the right time to lend him a helping hand.

Additional Children of the Ensemble – (Various Ages) Random London dwellers who appear in group and party scenes.
