Do You Want to Learn to Bake a Cake? Not Just Any Cake…

SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Samantha Kestin is a Springfield resident and owner of Sweet Samantha, which is based in Springfield.  She is a cake designer, baker and instructor now focused mostly on teaching people how to make cakes.  Starting Tuesday January 17 she will offer two baking related classes at the Springfield Chisholm Community Center.  They are two six week evening sessions starting Tuesday January 17 and Thursday January 19.  The evening sessions go from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.   

Her cake classes are focused on baking and decorating.  When she was more focused on designing and baking her cakes have been featured in many national magazines, blogs, etc., and she is a two-time Food Network competitor.  Once was on the show “Sweet Genius” and more recently she was runner-up on “Cake Wars”. 

She is also teaching a separate class at the Chisholm Center called – OMG!!!-----I MADE THAT!!!!  It features pinterest inspired cool craft ideas such as lip balms, bath products, sewing skills and more.  Its classes will be held 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting Monday January 23.  It is also a six week program.  The cost for either class is $195.
