PARKLAND, FL- The Drive-In Movie in Parkland is back again. After a successful run a few weeks ago showing "The Call of the Wild" based on the Jack London novel, the City of Parkland announced today that it will be featuring the recently released "Sonic the Hedgehog" movie starring Jim Carrey at its next showing.

The Drive-In has been a hit since the Coronavirus pandemic began as a way to get out of the house and experience entertainment from a group perspective while maintaining social distancing.

"Sonic the Hedgehog" will be showing on Friday, June 26, at the Equestrian Center in Parkland beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Gates will open for the event at 6:45 p.m. Attendees must bring their own snacks and stay in their own vehicles at all times other than a restroom visit.

The Drive-In movie is a free event for local residents.
