HAWTHORNE & PROSPECT PARK, NJ - Saturday, the day before Easter, the bunny was spotted in both boroughs spreading some Easter cheer to locals. Due to the circumstances affecting the holiday, the Easter Bunny was spotted driving around Hawthorne, waving to families who had come out to see.
In Prospect Park, the Easter Bunny popped on a protective mask and joined with the borough Fire Department and Department of Recreation to pass by residents waving from their porches, doors, and windows.
Easter could not be "canceled" by coronavirus, but it was changed.
